We have named this top the Nordic I as it is a great base layer for colder climates. It is triple-plated fabric with a nice sheen on the outside with a “fleece-like” feel on the inside that feels soft on your skin.
It has the same fit as our Endurance I shirt. The seam on the sleeve is on the outside instead of underneath the arm and the seams on the main body of the shirt are relocated towards the back. By making these small adjustments, you do not have two seams rubbing against each other when you move your arms. We also use flatlock stitching on all seams. Our shirts are semi-fitted which means they skim the contours of the body – allowing the fabric technology to work.
All of our shirts our made from Cocona Fabrics, a new fabric technology, that provides multiple benefits to the wearer. The shirt helps regulate body temperature through its high moisture capacity and super fast drying capability. It also is odor-resistant and protects your skin from dangerous ultraviolet rays (up to 50 UPF).
The primary design use was intended for running in colder climates. Alden Mills, the inventor of the Perfect Pushup, climbed to the top of Mt. Whitney in one of these shirts. It is also a great shirt to thrown on with a pair of jeans and have a pint at your favorite après-ski hangout.
